Guidelines for submitting articles to the journals of Imam Hussein University

** The dear authors are requested to pay attention to the following points when submitting the article.**

This publication follows the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

According to Clause 8, Article 6 of the new regulations of the country's scientific journals (numbered 25685/11) which was announced by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on 2/9/2018, the responsible author must submit the conflict of interest form as well as the letter of commitment to publish the article. Data accuracy, compliance with scientific ethics and not sending the same article to other publications should be completed and uploaded on the journal's website or sent to the journal's e-mail address scmj@ihu.ac.ir.

**Dear authors are requested to pay attention to the following points when submitting the article.

The submitted article should not have been previously published in any journal and should not be sent to another journal while being judged by this journal.

Due to the Open access to the journal's articles, we do not accept articles containing confidential information.

Submission

To submit an article, enter the publication's website and after registration, upload the article to the system.

Read the topics of the publication and make sure your article is related to one of the topics of the publication.

** It is mandatory to provide the e-mail address and mobile phone number of all the authors and introduce the 5 proposed expert reviewers when uploading the article.

Note: Make sure to print out the commitment and conflict of interest file and sign it manually, and then upload the scanned file. In addition, the file must be in PDF format or in the form of a photo.

Considering that the Peer Review process of the publication is anonymous (double-blind) and the name of the author and the Review are unknown to both parties,
Please remove the authors' names and authors' emails from the original article file and write the authors' names and degrees in the authors' profile file and then send it.

Note: It is recommended to refer at least 5 references to the previous articles of this university's publications. (It is not necessary that the referenced references are related to this publication, it is sufficient that only these 5 references are from university publications)

Publishing ethics

The scientific journal "Packaging Science and Art" of Imam Hossein University (AS) follows the latest statement of the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE). For full access to these guidelines, definitions and rules, you can visit www.publicationethics.org/resources.

This publication deals with any kind of plagiarism and non-respect of authors' rights in case of discovery and takes the necessary measures regarding the amount and type of error. All registered articles are carefully reviewed and studied to ensure that these works are free from plagiarism.

Some of the cases considered as plagiarism are as follows:

If the author uses another author's content verbatim without referring to the original source, or uses other people's shapes, diagrams and tables without citing the source or the changes made in the text of others, causing the loss of the rights of other authors, are considered examples of plagiarism, which, if observed according to the attached diagram, and based on the statement of the Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE), the violators will be dealt with accordingly.

Acknowledgment: The author or authors are required to acknowledge the financial or spiritual sponsor or creditor of the research (if any) that they have used in writing the article at the end of the article.

How to write

Note: It is necessary to include the unique identifier of DOR or DoI or both at the end of the references of each article.

Journal Article Writing Guidelines

Authors are requested to pay attention to the following points in preparing any articles:

1. The submitted article must contain the scientific and research findings of researchers in the fields related to the scope of the journal and must not been previously published in any domestic or foreign journal. Meanwhile, the editorial board strongly expects the respected authors not to submit their article to another journal while the article is being reviewed by this quarterly.
2. Authors must first register on the website of the journal at http://scmj.ihu.ac.ir and receive the user account link and password, then upload the document, or email it to scmj@ihu.ac.ir
3. The article should be written in Persian within 12 to 16 pages in two columns and all figures and tables should be included in the text.
4. The article should be on A4 paper with 2 cm upper margins, 2.8 cm lower margins and 2.4 cm left and right margins with B Nazanin size 12 font, Word 2010 software (.docx format) single-spaced.

4.1.    The first line of each paragraph should have an indentation of 0.4 cm.

1. The original article should include the following:

5.1.    A title of max. 10 words.

5.2.    Name and surname of the authors.

5.3.    The corresponding author must be specified.

5.4.    The title of the degree, the name of the university and the faculty (for faculty members) and the title of the field and degree, the name of the faculty, the name of the university and the name of the organization (for other writers) should be written in Persian and Latin.

5.5.    E-mail address of all authors, along with the address of the corresponding author's university.

5.6.    Max. 5 keywords.

5.7.    Abstract including assumptions, method and results (min. 100 and max. 200 words).

5.8.    Introduction indicating the issue under discussion, background and application.

5.9.    Description of the article and research method in a re-constructible for future researchers.

5.10.Conclusion paragraph indicating advantages, limitations and applications of research.

5.11.List of sources.

1. Latin words or phrases (other than abbreviations) can only appear in footnotes and footnotes must be included on the same page.
2. The number of references in the text and in the resources of the article, in parentheses and the number of equations in parentheses should be referred to and given in Persian numbers, respectively.
3. The list of sources should have the same number and order that is mentioned in the text of the article and the correct order of writing it is as follows:

8.1.    Journals: authors' names (surname, name), article title, journal name, journal number, page and year of publication.

8.2.    Books: authors' names (surname, name), book title, translator's name (surname, name), date of publication, place of publication, publisher, year of publication.

8.3.    Thesis: Author name (surname, first name); Thesis title, name of supervisor (surname, name), name of university, degree and field of study, year.

1. The title of the article, the full details of the authors (according to paragraph 5-4) of the abstract and key words in English should also be provided.
2. Postal address (along with the postal code) of the corresponding author must be provided.
3. The title of the figures should be presented in the following format with the format "Figure (1): ....." and the title of the tables at the top of the table with the format "Table (1): .....”.
4. Authors are instructed to write using fonts mentioned in Table (1).

1. With joint articles, the journal of supply chain management considers the submitting author as the correspondent.
2. The content of articles is the responsibility of authors and submitted articles will not be returned. The quarterly is free to reject, summarise and edit the content.
3. Abstract submissions, authored or translated by the author are to be specified. If the submitted article is a translation, the original article must also be sent.
4. In accordance with paragraph 8 of Article 6 of the new regulations of the country's scientific journals (No. 11/25685), issued by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on Saturday, Nov. 23^rd 2019, the corresponding author must submit a form of commitment to the authenticity of the article, the accuracy of the data, integrity of the research and refrain from submitting the same article to other publications.
5. Do not use numbering, enter numbers manually. Also, do not use Bullets in subcategories and use Symbol instead if necessary.
6. All two-part words should be written in conjunction and half-spaced.
