The Intelligent Web: Tools for Tacit Knowledge Production and Sharing

Abstract

In this paper, we intend to apply the intelligent web for production and propagation of tacit knowledge. Accurate and on time knowledge dissemination is a competitive advantage for every supply chain and adoption of an appropriate knowledge sharing approach in supply chain have important effect for organizations because acquisition and utilization of knowledge are key roles as competitive and strategic factors in addition to the valuable source to asset for organization. Semantic web and web2 are known as passed efforts that tack place for knowledge sharing in supply chain. However, these technologies are unable to sharing supply's tacit knowledge. Intelligent web have obtained from combination of web2 and semantic web, and also the intelligent web tools can provide new opportunities for knowledge representation, formalization, management and sharing. Moreover, these tools can produce tacit knowledge by utilizing inference rules and formalize with collaboration of semantic web formalisms. Proposed approach can be useful as a tool for assurance of fast and accurate supply performance, whereas can save cost and time of these process.
