Evaluation of Strategic Alliance Formation in an Industrial Cluster

Abstract

Strategic alliance strategic response to rapid changes such as increased competition, rapid technological advances, expansion of investment required, and the globalization of markets. (Yasuda, 2005). Given the current situation of our country, given all the factors can be added to the sanctions, as well as weak competitive local companies likely to join the global trade market and many other necessities strategic alliances should be placed on the importance and attention.
In this study we investigate the possibility of forming strategic alliances, industrial clusters in the country. For this purpose, the use of several prestigious model, the model is a model that highlights 10 areas, chosen business field, and then classified into three categories, and the value of each field, and each The categories of evaluation, is located. The main tool is assessed in this study, questionnaires, and case studies in the industrial cluster is Malayer furniture and woodcarving. Our studies showed that at first can be said to desire, interest, and there is the possibility of forming strategic alliances in the industrial cluster, and the results indicate that the areas of marketing and supply chain (horizontal and vertical) strategic alliances is very important for organizations. A total of ten selected fields, six fields confirm the feasibility and feasibility of the four areas was rejected.
