Recovery of Mechanical Parts in the Military Industry (Part 1)

Document Type : Scientific Paper

Abstract

Reconstruction of industrial machines has a special place in all countries, especially in developing countries. This is especially important for hardware that is difficult to access. The technical justification of the limitations on the number and variety of possible opportunities, as well as the limited ability to purchase alternative equipment, can be considered among the reasons for addressing this important issue. And without a doubt, the first step in rebuilding machinery is to supply its spare parts, and recovering worn-out parts is one of the ways to supply spare parts. , Have an economy; Technical justification; That is, the fatigue life of the part is not over and there is a good distance with the failure of the fatigue. In other words, compensation for depreciation is possible. By removing the defects caused by abrasion and corrosion by maintaining the surface properties in the adaptive points, the part will return to the service life of the recovery, the removal of the defects of wear and corrosion of the part can be done practically by scaling method. Economic justification; That is, the cost of retrieving a piece is less than buying and manufacturing it, and the lifespan of the recovery service is longer than the lifespan of the motherboard reconstruction service (at least twice as long).
Recovery of a part that can be recovered according to the above principles is done through a process defined by scaling by welding, metal spraying, plating and using epoxy materials, which will be described in future issues and justified. We will discuss their technical and economic aspects. The establishment of mechanical parts recovery workshops in the Armed Forces' General Reconstruction and Repair Centers solves the problem of shortages and shortages of spare parts during times of crisis, and under normal circumstances saves considerable savings
