RFID is a new tool in product management

Document Type : Scientific Paper

Abstract

Currently, new technology is replacing the conventional bar code method, which covers its disadvantages and offers more capabilities. This technology is called RFID. And instead of using light to read labels, the technology uses radio waves. The use of radio waves in itself has been able to reduce problems such as the correct placement of the label in front of the scanner and human errors. In addition, using the new "non-collision" technology in RFID, we can read multiple tags together and drastically reduce inventory updates.
Of course, reading all the labels together imposes a lot of traffic load on the information system, the management of which requires better data transmission lines and better processors.
In general, it can be said that various pilot experiments, etc., all indicate that the return on investment in RFID projects is certain, and we can be sure that investing in this work will lead to better work and more profitability.
