Abstract
The pattern of change and evolution of maintenance in Iranian industries is influenced by the characteristics of public administration and the oil-based economic structure. On the other hand, the mechanisms of sanctions and inflation have changed the behavior of Iranian industries compared to other countries over the years. Today, with the introduction of new issues such as the industry 4.0 and the importance of some national issues such as the resistance economy, there has been an effort so that the industry can develop in a predictable, desirable and logical way. Therefore, maintenance models that are developed must be able to respond to certain economic conditions such as the case in Iran and can be implemented correctly.
In this article, in the first step, a review of maintenance excellence models was conducted to achieve the design method of maintenance excellence system in Iranian industries. This article does not cover the comparison of these models. Then, by examining the factors that should be considered in Iranian organizations in developing a maintenance system, the emergence of various equipment maintenance systems in the country were addressed to provide a useful knowledge of these systems. Then, the proposed framework for maintenance excellence based on the concepts of asset management in Iranian industries, entitled "Irim 3", was presented, which in addition to full coverage of ISO 55000 standard clauses, is compatible with the components and characteristics of Iranian industries and has been implemented, developed and updated in a number of Iranian organizations. Then, the method, concepts, principles of evaluation of the organization, requirements and specifications of preparing a suitable roadmap for excellence, according to the characteristics and components of Iranian industries were introduced. At the end, the general structure of the proposed framework was displayed and the coverage of ISO 55000 standard clauses was described. By implementing this framework in various organizations and industries, the key performance indicators were maintained and also the result of the audit of the organization's roadmap was significantly improved, which proves the efficiency of the framework according to the local conditions of the country.
