One of the most essential parts of a supply chain is paying attention to sustainability in order to effectively manage the chain. The supply chain in the construction industry, especially in the supply of materials, has recently received attention due to its significant impact on environmental sustainability and community well-being. This study examines the modeling and design of the construction supply chain by considering the dimensions of sustainability (economic, social, and environmental) with the aim of reducing chain costs under conditions of stochastic demand. The construction supply chain network design model considers suppliers, temporary facilities, and project construction centers. Temporary facilities are places for sending material requests to suppliers, receiving materials, and holding and pre-processing materials. The proposed problem is initially designed using a mixed-integer linear programming model, considering parameters such as material demand, carbon emission purchase and sale price, job opportunities created, and chain-related costs, while taking into account problem assumptions. However, since material demand values may face supply probability due to reasons such as construction stoppage at the project site (bad weather, suppliers' inability to supply materials, etc.), the probability demand parameter is considered and modeled using a normal distribution. Finally, the present problem is solved using GAMS software, and sensitivity analysis is performed on key parameters.
